In the event of inclement weather, a make-up class will be held on February 14th.
Please have skaters dress warmly in layers while still allowing for full movement. Helmets are strongly recommended for all first-time skaters. Gloves or mittens are required for safety and warmth.
There are no refunds, as the Feb. 14 make-up day serves as the weather contingency. Please plan to arrive 15 minutes before class to get skates on and be ready to start on time. Options for one day available during sign-up process.
Winter Competitive Production
Designed for skaters who have passed Preliminary or Adult Bronze Skating Skills, this production blends performance quality with competitive preparation in a supportive, structured environment.
Skaters will work on choreography, unison skating, musical interpretation, and presentation, with the goal of competing at the Michigan Showcase in March. Groups will be formed as needed based on registration and level.
Coaching will be led by Marcia Little, Nicolette Fey, with a special guest appearance by Olympic gold medalist Charlie White during one session.
This is a great option for skaters looking to stay engaged through the winter months, gain competitive experience, and perform as part of a team-driven production.
Contract Marcia to Register: MotownIceTheatre@Gmail.com
TOI provides a sense of community and teamwork, a shared experience that solo skaters often are not exposed to, and yet allows for indivduality and the expression of one’s own personality.
